Who we are
The McPherson Early Childhood Program is a collaborative effort that includes funded programming for economically disadvantaged children, ages 3 to 4, and their families living in McPherson and Marion counties.
Funded programming includes: Head Start, Kansas At Risk Program, & Special Education Programs.
Families not qualifying for any of the above funded programs may pay a monthly tuition to attend.

To qualify:
- In McPherson County: The family must live within the Smoky Valley USD 400, McPherson USD 418, Canton/Galva USD, Moundridge USD 423, or Inman USD 448 school districts
- In Marion County: The family must live within the Hillsboro USD 410 & Marion USD 408 school districts.
- the child must be at least three years old by August 31.
